Ultimea brand introduced the affordable Apollo S40 soundbar . The soundbar implements a 2.0 configuration and is built on two tweeters and two woofers / midrange speakers in a phase-inverted design. There is no support for trendy formats and features like Dolby Atmos or Alexa or Siri voice assistants, but there is Bluetooth version 5.0 and HDMI ARC support . At the same time, the price of new items does not exceed 80 US dollars .
However, the main “feature” of the Ultimea Apollo S40 soundbar was the ability to divide it into two halves if necessary and use it as a stereo pair.
That is, you can choose: to place the soundbar in the usual way under the TV screen – on the wall or on the shelf of the TV cabinet, or to install the two halves to the left and right of the TV – on the included stands, or on the wall.
The soundbar offers several DSP soundtrack processing to optimize the sound depending on the type of content and listening conditions – Movie , Music , Night , News / Dialogue , Hi – Fi , Dynamic .
The switching arsenal of the Ultimea Apollo S40 soundbar includes an HDMI port with support for the ARC audio return channel, a digital optical input, a 3.5 mm mini-jack connector for analog connection of sources, and an analog RCA output for integrating the soundbar with an active subwoofer. There is also a USB-A port for connecting external USB drives up to 64 GB with MP3, APE, FLAC, WMA audio files .
The Ultimea Apollo S40 soundbar comes with a wireless remote control. In addition, you can use the keys on the device to adjust the volume, source selection, and power control.
