Sharp has introduced a new compact wireless audio system CP- LS100 , created in collaboration with the famous French manufacturer of innovative audio equipment Devialet . In addition to the official model index, the speaker also has its own name – SumoBox . According to the manufacturer, the speaker will provide a bass line “that will amaze you like a sumo wrestler” .
Made in the brutal design of professional concert monitors, the speaker is equipped with a removable battery, a pair of 2-inch tweeters and two 8-inch woofers. The total power of the amplifiers is 120 watts. SumoBox is the first product that Sharp has collaborated with the French audio brand on its proprietary Speaker Active Matching (SAM) technology, which, along with a closed acoustic design, is supposed to produce “rich, detailed and powerful bass with minimal distortion.”
Connectivity goes beyond Bluetooth 5.0 wireless and includes two TRS/XLR combo inputs and one auxiliary input. Two SumoBox audio systems can be paired in stereo with True Wireless Stereo support. In addition, you can connect keyboard instruments, a microphone or a guitar to the Sharp CP-LS100 and use the speaker as a portable amplifier. SumoBox’s removable lithium-ion battery provides up to 10 hours of continuous use.
The Sharp CP- LS100 SumoBox wireless audio system is already on sale at a price of 399 euros .
