Sennheiser has announced the Ambeo Soundbar Plus, a soundbar that allows you to create high-quality surround sound with a deep immersive effect. The soundbar is designed to replace multi-component acoustics in home theaters. In addition, Sennheiser calls the device the world’s first stand-alone 7.1.4 soundbar.

The new product supports technologies such as Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and MPEG-H Audio. Four built-in microphones allow you to automatically adjust to the configuration of the room. The Voice Enhancement function improves the audibility of dialogues, in addition, there is a Night Mode.
The design includes nine class D amplifiers, seven 2-inch full-range speakers and two 4-inch subwoofers. The total power reaches 400 W (RMS). The reproducible frequency range extends from 38 Hz to 20 kHz.
The panel has one HDMI 2.1 and two HDMI 2.0a connectors, an S / PDIF interface, a USB Type-A port, tulip-type audio jacks, and an RJ45 connector for connecting an Ethernet network cable. Supports wireless Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax in the 2.4/5 GHz bands and Bluetooth 5.0 BLE. Dimensions are 105.1 × 7.7 × 12.1 mm, weight – 6.3 kg.
