OPPO has officially unveiled their new wireless headphones – the device is called Enco Air 2i, and sales will start in two days, on August 10, when a full-fledged manufacturer’s event will take place. Now, OPPO decided not to wait and immediately opened a pre-order for a new product – most likely, the company is actually confident in the success of this gadget, since with rather modest characteristics, the headphones are really cheap.
For example, the latest model received 10 mm titanium-coated composite drivers, thanks to which the manufacturer promises to provide higher sound quality.
A strong player in the affordable wireless headphone market that can beat the competition with autonomy
The Bluetooth 5.2 protocol is responsible for wireless connection to the smartphone – according to OPPO, it significantly reduces delays in sound transmission, plus improves stability during voice calls. However, when creating this model, the manufacturer made the main emphasis on battery life, which is a huge rarity for the budget segment. During the official announcement, it was said that OPPO Enco Air2 boasts a built-in 40 mAh battery (in each of the headphones), due to which the device can play music without recharging for 7 hours.
Another interesting feature of the device is the system for suppressing third-party noise during telephone conversations
This is a good indicator of autonomy even for flagship models, not to mention a fairly budget option. Moreover, the earbuds also come with a charging case, which is equipped with its own 460 mAh battery. As a result, if you take into account the recharging of the case battery, the headphones provide 28 hours of music listening on a single charge.
Surprisingly, the model, which looks like a stripped-down version of the Enco Air 2 headphones, received 4 hours more battery life than the original full-fledged version. Another interesting feature of the device is the system for suppressing third-party noise during telephone conversations – the headphones use their own algorithm based on artificial intelligence to make the voice clearer. True, it is not yet entirely clear how effective this solution is.
Now about the prices – Oppor is talking about sales only in China, so the model will get to other countries a little later. At the same time, if you place a pre-order for OPPO Enco Air2, then the price will be only 159 yuan – about $ 24. If you buy headphones after the end of the campaign, the price will be $30. This is at the level of Redmi AirDots 3.
