By far the most unconventional model in LG’s 2021 soundbar lineup is the LG QP5 Éclair. This super-compact 3.1.2 configuration is only 30 cm long and 5 cm high. Its white, streamlined body is as unusual as its size.
However, do not be fooled by the modest dimensions of the LG Éclair, as its power is nearly 320 watts. In addition to the center channel and two side channels, the soundbar has two upward-firing speakers for playback of Dolby Atmos and DTS: X surround formats. This configuration is offered for the first time in a super compact device.
The soundbar is additionally equipped with a similarly designed wireless subwoofer equipped with bi-directional speakers. According to the manufacturer, Éclair is the ideal solution for a small room.
This is not the first time LG has “miniaturized” at this CES. Earlier the company announced the launch of the most compact OLED TV with a diagonal of 106 cm, and in future plans – to reduce this size to 50 cm!
