Focal is preparing to start selling a new line of acoustic speakers called Vestia . It includes five speaker models, which are simply assigned serial numbers. The series includes the Focal Vestia N°1 bookshelf monitors , three pairs of Vestia N°2, Vestia N°3 and Vestia N°4 floorstanding speakers , and the Vestia Center center channel speaker.
The cabinets of all models are made of medium-density fibreboard, the floorstanders are equipped with aluminum pedestals and are slightly tilted back in a vertical plane. All models feature identical 25mm aluminium/magnesium alloy inverted dome TAM tweeters capable of operating up to 30kHz. The mid-range and woofers are equipped with 165 mm diameter cones made of proprietary Slatefiber material , which is a composite material based on non-woven carbon fibers. As an acoustic design for all models, a bass-reflex was chosen.
Estimated prices of acoustic systems of the Focal Vestia series in the European market will be from 500 to 1500 euros, new items will appear on sale in early 2023.
