Rogers has updated its Rogers E20a tube amplifier , which premiered about a quarter of a century ago. The novelty received an index II in the model name. Changes affected the design of the case – now it is made of anodized metal panels. The top of the lamp protects the curved perforated metal grill without interfering with effective cooling. As a result, this package design provides high-quality shielding of the circuit.
The output stages of the amplifier are based on 6L6GT beam tetrodes . The power output of the E20a II is up to 18W for each channel.
The switching arsenal of the basic version of the amplifier includes three line inputs on high-quality gold-plated RCA connectors . As an option, the manufacturer offers a built-in phono stage for working with moving magnet ( MM ) cartridges , based on 12AX7 tubes .
The prices recommended for the Rogers E20a II amplifier , as well as the timing of the new items on sale, are still unknown.
