The new Mark Levinson N ° 5302 Bridgeable Dual Monaural Amplifier is a bridged dual monaural amplifier, combining the best materials with exclusive technology and design to deliver great functionality.
The front is made of a combination of aluminum and glass, like the other devices in the 5000 series, while a centrally placed ring serves as a standby screen. It also has extremely solid aluminum handles on the front and heat dissipation coolers on the sides, which are not only purely functional, but definitely part of the design. The whole frame is literally “enthroned” in specially made aluminum legs.
Inside, completely discrete circuits are hidden, while it is an A / B class amplifier. The base for the amplifier circuits is an oversized 1,100 VA spiral core transformer with individual secondary windings for the left and right channels. According to the manufacturer, the voltage amplification stage has a topology taken directly from the Mark Levinson N ° 534 Dual Monaural amplifier. The output stage uses two high-speed Class A driving transistors and six 260 V 15 A output transistors. Special attention was paid to the guaranteed constant output polarization voltage, regardless of load or temperature, in order to always achieve optimum results. Finally, four capacitors of 10,000 per channel contribute to this.
Balanced connections are available at the inputs, a pair of XLR sockets and an unbalanced input in the form of a pair of RCA sockets. The new Mark Levinson N 5302 Bridgeable Dual Monaural Amplifier features a pair of compact terminals for connecting speakers.
