The Pioneer DJ HDJ-CX on-ear headphones are a DJ model (which is logical), but they are also positioned as professional ones, and this is with a minimum weight of 136 g. The manufacturer describes the new product as “durable headphones without unnecessary details”, outstanding “ tight, wide range sound.
For this, a new 35 mm diameter film membrane of the speakers made of PEEK-PU-PEEK composite material was used. It covers the range from 5 Hz to 30 kHz. Input power reaches 2000 mW, with a declared sensitivity of 103 dB, it should turn out loud. Protected bass reflex chambers improve low frequency response.
The model was created “for heavy use on the road” and passed a series of rigorous tests to Pioneer DJ’s internal standards, as well as the US military standard MIL-STD-810H shock test.
The headphone comes with 2 cables to choose from: straight and coiled, plus a 1/4″ jack adapter that can be clipped into the adapter’s cable holder so that it is always at hand. The kit also includes a pair of interchangeable ear pads.
