Bang & Olufsen has launched the Beoplay Portal wireless gaming headphones. Thus, B&O has fulfilled its promise, this last summer: then said about the series of audio hayendnoy release for Xbox X in the framework of the program «Designed for Xbox» in partnership with Microsoft. The corresponding logo appears in the descriptions of the headphones.

Full review of the headphones coming soon!

According to the manufacturer, Beoplay Portal combines premium sound and design. 40mm neodymium magnet speakers are responsible for the sound. The lack of a boom microphone is compensated for by the directional MEMS microphone array (with integrated electronics). They are also responsible for adaptive active noise cancellation.

In terms of design, the earbuds are crafted from milled aluminum, soft sheepskin on memory foam ear cushions, resin composite and breathable bamboo fiber knit fabric. The novelty is released in three colors: “black anthracite”, “gray fog” and “sea”.

The headset supports USB-C, 3.5mm audio cable, Bluetooth 5.1 wireless with aptX Adaptive and Xbox Wireless with 2.4GHz lossless audio. Connected to an Xbox or Windows 10 computer via USB, the Beoplay Portal headphones are capable of playing virtualized Dolby Atmos surround sound.

A mobile application with an equalizer is responsible for setting up the headphones. Right on the cups, you can adjust the balance of ANC and your own voice, mute the sound, etc. With a game console, the headphones will work up to 12 hours, and when using only Bluetooth with ANC turned on, twice as long.

Our full review of Beoplay Portal will be dropping as soon as we get our hands on these beauties!
